Guineas are wonderful alarms. They have a very unique sound, and are great at letting you know if something or someone is on the property that they don’t want to be. They have alerted us of vehicles pulling in and of unwanted pests on the property. Guineas are also wonderful to have around, because they eat lots of bugs. They consume 90% of their diet free ranging, consisting of ticks, grasshoppers, flies, crickets and slugs.
